In Loving Memory of David A Zanis
The Pottsville Area High School Teens Against Tobacco, the Pottsville Area High School Key Club and the Pottsville Recreation Committee announces the Second Annual Dash for Dave, a Memorial Run to benefit two local nonprofit organizations. The 1-mile race/fun run will be held on April 7, 2013 and all proceeds from the race will further the work of Clinical Outcomes Group, Inc. and Pottsville Rotary Club.
Dr. Zanis was dedicated to enhancing the lives of so many people, especially teenagers. We would like to honor his memory with an event that we believe he would have supported and have been a participant. Dr. Zanis was an avid runner and family man. He served on many committees and dedicated his talents towards finding ways to improve the health and lifestyles of others.
On April 7, 2013 the Second Annual Dash for Dave, a 1 Mile Memorial Fun Run & Walk, will take place on Market Street in Pottsville PA. Clinical Outcomes Group, Inc. (COGI), the Rotary Club, and the Kiwanis Club do such amazing work here in our community and this race to honor Dr. Zanis will truly make a contribution to their efforts.
When: Sunday, April 7, 2013
Time: Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. until 8:30
1st Heat: 8:45 a.m. Walkers then 9:00 a.m. 50 + run
2nd Heat: 19 years to 49 years
3rd Heat: 18 years and younger
Registration Place: 18th Street & West Market, Pottsville
Cost: $18.00 per adult and $8.00 per child 14 years and under if pre-register by March 15, 2013 or day of registration $20.00 per adult and $10.00 for 14 and under.
