Press Release - COGI Announces Daniel Derr Promoted to Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Clinical Outcomes Group, Inc. (COGI) a 501(c)3 nonprofit health and social service organization is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Derr, MSW to the position of Executive Director. Beginning October 1, 2008, Mr. Derr will oversee all administrative functions of COGI and will work with the Board of Directors to improve the health and wellness of Pennsylvania residents.

Mr. Derr earned a master of social work (MSW) degree from Temple University and an undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University. Mr. Derr is a licensed social worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is an elected member of the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco Dependence. Over the past year, he has co-authored two peer reviewed publications on public health approaches to increase access to health service delivery. He has also presented findings at national conferences on community and behavioral health service access.

COGI provides services throughout Pennsylvania with offices in Pottsville and Northumberland. COGI specializes in meeting the health and wellness needs of employers and local communities by offering evidence based services that are affordable and accessible.
