Mock Bedroom

The “mock bedroom” is a parent education session (children are not permitted) where they walk through a “bedroom” to learn “what to look for” and “how to be aware” of potential signs that indicate their children may be involved with alcohol and/or drugs. This interactive learning experience is also designed to educate parents on what different substances and paraphernalia look like.

Our presentation includes information on issues facing today’s youth:  eating disorders, cutting, suicide, depression, and substance abuse.   Parents can also be given resources to assist with any of these issues.   The goal of the Mock Bedroom is to give parents the tools to help their children in a positive way.
