Schuylkill County Kick Butts Day DROP II

WHAT: Schuylkill County DROP II is scheduled in conjunction with Kick Butts Day 2008. This event will provide a visual demonstration on the effects of tobacco on the residents of Schuylkill County and is coordinated by Schuylkill County BUSTED! teens kickin´ nicotine.

HISTORY: Kick Butts Day is celebrated nationally and is a day for our nation´s youth to stand out, speak up, and seize control in the fight against tobacco. This day is used to educate others on how Big Tobacco targets kids and how to help prevent youth tobacco use.

Pre-Campaign Event

Held Saturday, March 15, 2008 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the Fairlane Village Mall, Route 61, Pottsville

Schuylkill County BUSTED! teens kickin´ nicotine will hosted the 2008 Kick Butts Day Pre-Campaign Event and presented a powerful "8 Seconds" demonstration. This was a visual display of the world´s death rate from tobacco use.

The "8 Seconds" demonstration offered mall patrons the reality of tobacco´s effects and provided a preview for this year´s Schuylkill County Kick Butts Day DROP II.
