Substance Abuse Treatment (Outpatient)

In 2010, COGI obtained licensing through the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) to operate on an outpatient bases.   In 2012, COGI added the ability to provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

COGI provides outpatient and intensive outpatient addiction treatment services to adults and adolescents struggling with substance use.   Clients receive individual and group therapy incorporating 12-step principles as well as other treatment approaches such as Cognitive-Behavior Therapy.   In addition to  counseling, clients are able to access COGI’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) clinic as well as comprehensive care management services designed to assist clients with coordinating care across systems and addressing barriers to long-term recovery.

We understand that substance abuse treatment is not a one size fits all approach and therefore individualized treatment plans are in place for each client.   Our staff attends annual trauma training and we operate our agency with a trauma-informed approach to treatment.   It is our goal to treat our clients as a whole and work through whatever is needed to allow them to be successful not only in recovery but in every day life.
