Specialty Programs

COGI has always prided itself on the ability to find quality programs to meet the un-met needs within our community.  When possible, COGI will collaborate with other community based organizations as well as county government to put these programs into effect.   Grant funding is often obtained to establish specialized programs.

Our current specialty programs include:

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) – This program is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy tried to identify and change negative thinking patterns and pushes positive behavioral changes. DBT may be used to treat suicidal and other self-destructive behaviors. It’s main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, cope healthily with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with other.   CLICK here for more information
